Mises and Madison

"With respect to the two words 'general welfare,' I have always regarded them as qualified by the DETAIL of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a METAMORPHOSIS of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators." -April 20, 1831 Letter from James Madison (dubbed Father of the U.S. Constitution for his role in drafting of the text; see also The Federalist Papers, published on behalf of the American system as one of limited government of by and for the people of A Free Republic)~

"MODERN CRYPTODESPOTISM, which arrogates to itself the name of liberalism, finds fault with the negativity of the concept of freedom. The censure is spurious as it refers merely to the grammatical form of the idea and does not comprehend that all civil rights can be as well defined in affirmative as in negative terms. THEY ARE NEGATIVE AS THEY ARE DESIGNED TO OBVIATE AN EVIL, NAMELY THE OMNIPOTENCE OF THE POLICE POWER [OF GOVERNMENT], AND TO PREVENT THE STATE FROM BECOMING TOTALITARIAN." -Ludwig von Mises in chapter 21, The Theory of Money and Credit~

Tip of the Iceberg: The Real Story of Che Guevara and Communism + Whats Going On Here?

In The following YOUTUBE clip Humberto Fontova discusses and exposes the real CHE GUEVARA with Glenn Beck, which begs the following questions:

WHO IS AND HAS BEEN KEEPING THE TRUTH FROM US ABOUT THIS POPULARIZED MURDEROUS FANATICAL MEGALOMANIAC AND WHO HAS BEEN KEEPING US FROM REMEMBERING WHAT HAPPENED IN CUBA WHY IT IS WRONG AND WHY IS THIS NOT BEING TAUGHT ???

This is just the tip of the iceberg regarding many truths about where we are today and why. This story and our apparent indifference about it just scratches the surface with regard to the enormously consequential truths that we need to expose and articulate. Hopefully showing this helps more people understand the problem and inspires them to make some contribution or support the cause of free market economics because it is the cause of civilization and true progress.

This a real WAKE UP CALL because our country is being run to the ground in the name of ideas and misconceptions about the workings of the real world in economics and the importance of limited government and free enterprise. Like I said, this is just the tip of the iceberg to be uncovered.

Another good point at which one can begin to crack open and expose for themselves and for others this socialist agenda, seemingly impenetrable and overwhelming wall of lies and omissions and socialist agenda regarding the socialist machine in the here and now and what it has been doing and how it has been doing it in America today is this book: THE MARKETING OF EVIL by David Kupelian. I highly recommend the audiobook format read by the author. This is a very good starting point for anyone who wants to learn more, be empowered by the truth as well as those who consider themselves open minded to the idea that maybe something really has been going wrong and maybe we need to find out exactly how and why. It is a phenomenal and eye opening resource. The evidence is overwhelming, it is time to resist, to take a stand and begin to roll back and defeat the pernicious, if misguided and well intentioned, socialist radical agenda in America. TODAY.

"Since the days of Karl Marx's First International a century and a half ago, this very human opposition between SOCIALIST THEORY (egalitarianism) and SOCIALIST REALITY (oligarchic oppression) has bedeviled the Left. Marx laid the problem bare in his 'Critique of the Gotha Program' (1875). Lenin dealt with it honestly and brutally in 'What Is To Be Done?' (1902) - the foundational document of Communism. By acknowledging that the Communist Party is not the common people's representative, but rather its 'vanguard,' Leninists were comfortable with a party responsible only to itself and to history, a party that openly demanded deference from the humans whose habits it forcibly reshaped. Communism's undeniable horrors forced the New Left to disassociate itself from 'What Is To Be Done?' and once again to pretend that its socialism was neither oligarchic nor coercive, that somehow it was on the side of ordinary folks. This is a much tougher sell in the 21st century than it was in the 19th. Contemporary socialists try to explain away the common man's suspicion of them as harbingers of oligarchy [manipulative limolibmedia, soros et al], corruption [govt./statist corporate cronyism bailouts welfare], and coercion [unconstitutional admin] by resorting to jargon (e.g., 'false consciousness' and 'socio-economic anxienty'). But that is ever less convincing. This is why the movement argues so strenuously with itself about whether and how much it should dissimulate its agenda."

A very black mark on New York Times Pulitzer winning journalist Dalton Trumbo here, lying to America and the world about the truth of America's enemies, and therefore, in my opinion, because of his contributions and intentions, also being one of them. More an enemy of all humanity, actually. It is frightening to realize that this man has (or had) a fountain in his honor at the University of Colorado (See: FOUNTAIN OF LIES by Art Eckstein on FrontPageMag.com 2005). IT IS OUTRAGEOUS, how did we get to this point?

I found one of the many many many "clues," in, for example, the writing of the highly honored Marxist academic ERIC HOBSBAWM who has held high positions in the British education and academic establishment, which began with a PhD in History on the socialist Fabian Society which was lead by lifelong friends of John Maynard Keynes, who is the main champion of the media and US Democrat Party counterproductive snakeoil economics. See Keynes and the Reds by Prof. Ralph Raico here http://mises.org/daily/891

This is what Hobsbawm wrote in the 1998 introduction of The Communist Manifesto: A Modern Edition, which I purchased at a small bookstore by my school:

"Since a major state [the USSR/Russia] now claimed to represent Marxist ideology, the Manifesto's standing as a text in political science was REINFORCED, and it accordingly entered THE TEACHING PROGRAMME OF UNIVERSITIES, destined to EXPAND RAPIDLY AFTER THE SECOND WORLD WAR, where the Marxism of intellectual readers was to find its most enthusiastic public in the 1960s and 1970s."

Here is where we start to see a major influence and source of America's current anti-capitalistic and statist illness; her full blown fully metastisized economic ignorance and education crisis. I don't mean to say that the Soviets were the originators and only people capable of making the assumptions and grave errors of Socialism and Marxist theory because that may lead to the assumption and perception that Communism was fully abandoned and vanished along with the USSR.

Communism is merely a form of implemented socialism. It is a higher degree and more widespread stage of the same destructive epistemological origin of that misguided statist anticapitalist impulse and error that Ludwig von Mises warned about in his prescient and brilliant free market defense in such works as Socialism (1922), Liberalism (1927), and Critique of Interventionism (1929) as noted by Richard Ebeling, former president of Foundation for Economic Education. See also Ludwig von Mises, Middle of the Road Policy Leads to Socialism (http://mises.org/midroad.asp)

In the past, in 2008 to be precise, I made the argument and published the statement that the socialist demand for change is the demand for more control. This is why I said that what has been going on on American campuses, the abandonment of intellectual integrity in the name of revolutionary partisanship, is part and parcel to the coercive and arrogant nature and character of the socialist doctrine and ideology itself.

What I argued, while considering the destructive, bomb-throwing, deceptive, manipulative crazyness and coercion-advocacy which the Bill Ayers, Ward Churchill, Lynne Stewart, Noam Chomsky, Cloward-Piven* -Obama tied professoriate has engaged in, was that we can and should fight fire with fire BUT WITHOUT pursuing the same extremist, violent and uncivil means.

(*fast forward video to 5:12 to see Beck on Cloward and Piven who in the 1960s wrote about the intention and strategy for collapsing the American economy by overloading the system with unsustainable impossible promises and economic distortion and sabotauge:)

Just as these punks can talk about overthrowing the American way we should be overthrowing and speaking out against their unAmerican and uncivil socialist nonsense.

What I am talking about a well organized MOVEMENT that is focused on winning the college campuses and institutions of higher learning in the name of liberty, which means communicating the case for capitalism aka free market economics.

This is what the socialist party fears the most but we cannot afford to allow the status quo to continue because it is taking us on the path to ruin.

This is the purpose of Free Market Circle and really where the Tea Party movement should begin to focus on at once.

Acton Institute: The Call of the Entrepreneur

This film follows the stories and examines the experiences of a refugee from China, a failing dairy farmer and a merchant banker. These stories help to explain the virtues and justification of the free enterprise system.

I recommend sharing this film with students and well-intentioned and open minded individuals who have adopted the negative and narrow charicature of capitalism that prevails in academia due to the very manipulative nature of the coercive and counterproductive ideology of socialism.

It is imperative that the case for capitalism is heard and that we have a deep and sweeping revolution in ideas regarding the proper and limited role of government in securing our liberties because government is growing and the individual is shrinking at an alarming and disturbing rate at the expense of the people, especially those who suffer most, in the worstening economic situation in this scenario.

Thought of the day

If Democrats or Republicans had tenure you couldn't fire them.

If you can't fire anyone -ever- but you have to pay them anyway, pretty soon what you receive from them is going to be more and more defective product or whatever they want to give you, which will be mostly 'orders' and lies which they will bark at you and you will not be able to get away from them because socialism is the ultimate monopoly and economic corruption. Be prepared to have your economy and your back broken, IF YOU CAN'T FIRE THEM.

Free markets, not free loaders.
